Assistant/Associate/Full Professor tenure-track position in Computer Science

The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Oregon State
University invites applications for up to four tenure-track positions in
Computer Science. We seek strong candidates with a commitment to quality
teaching and with research strengths in the areas of programming languages,
algorithms with a focus on optimization or probabilistic reasoning,
systems-focused HCI, databases with a focus on very large data systems
(excluding data mining), and computer security and privacy. Exceptionally
strong candidates in other areas of computer science will also be considered.
Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to collaboration with other
research groups in the School of EECS, with other departments at Oregon State,
and with other universities.

The School of EECS supports a culture of energetic collaboration, and the
faculty are committed to excellence in both education and research. With 40
tenure/tenure-track faculty, we enroll 185 Ph.D., 125 MS and 1200
undergraduate students. OSU is recognized for its "very high research
activity" by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. The
School of EECS is housed in the Kelley Engineering Center, a green building
designed to support collaboration among faculty and students across campus.
