Open Position: Lecturer in Cybersecurity, University of Southampton

Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) at Southampton are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Cybersecurity. ECS particularly seeks candidates from a Computer Science background with expertise in Information Security. The new academic will provide research leadership in pursuing the information security and assurance aspects of our Cybersecurity agenda including security and privacy aspects of cloud computing, of internet systems, and of cyberphysical systems. In general, all areas within the science and engineering of cybersecurity and information assurance are of potential interest. The new academic will also play a leading role in defining and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in cybersecurity.
The new appointment will be part of the Electronic and Software Systems (ESS) Research Group. ESS provides a unique environment that facilitates research across Electronics and Computer Science:

The new appointment will work with the multi-disciplinary Southampton Academic Centre of Excellence in Cybersecurity which draws expertise from across the University, including Electronics and Computer Science, Law, Management, Mathematics, Sociology and Psychology:
