DisCoTec 2021 is one of the major events sponsored by the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) and the European Association for Programming Languages and Systems (EAPLS). It gathers conferences and workshops that cover a broad spectrum of distributed computing subjects — from theoretical foundations and formal description techniques, testing and verification methods, to language design and system implementation approaches.

* Workshops *

The DisCoTec 2021 organising committee invites proposals for workshops to complement the three main conferences. The aim is to provide a vivid and open forum for discussions, presentations of preliminary research results and ongoing work, as well as presentations of research work to a focussed audience.

The workshops will be held in conjunction with the main events. Prospective workshop chairs should contact the organisers and provide the following information:
  - contact information of the workshop chairs
  - name of the workshop
  - number of (expected) participants
  - brief description of the topic of the event (max. 500 words)
  - any other relevant information (e.g., invited speakers)
  
Important dates (for all workshops):
  - January 20, 2021: Workshop proposal submission deadline
  - January 31, 2021: Notification of accepted workshop proposals
  - Mid April 2021: Workshop paper submission deadline
  - Mid May 2021: Notification of accepted workshop papers
  - June 14-18, 2021: Conferences and workshops

The submission and notification deadlines of the workshops are at the discretion of the individual workshop chairs. However, the notification must be no later than the early registration deadline for DisCoTec 2021 (to be announced).


* Tutorials *

The DisCoTec 2021 organising committee invites proposals for tutorials on topics related to those of the three main conferences of DisCoTec. 

The tutorials will be held in conjunction with the main events. Prospective speakers should contact the workshops chairs and provide the following information:
  - contact information of the speaker
  - title of the tutorial
  - abstract of the tutorial (max. 500 words)
  - description of the tutorial (max. two A4 pages)
  
Important dates:
  - April 10, 2020: Tutorial proposal submission deadline
  - May 1, 2020: Notification of accepted tutorials
  - June 14-18, 2021: Conferences and tutorials


* Tool Track *

The DisCoTec 2021 organising committee invites proposals for tool demonstrations on topics related to those of the three main conferences of DisCoTec. This call is open to anyone. However, authors of the papers accepted at DisCoTec are strongly encouraged to present the tool accompanying their publication. 

The tool demos will be held in conjunction with the main events. Prospective speakers should contact the workshops chairs and provide the following information:
  - contact information of the speaker
  - title of the demo and tool
  - brief description of the actual demo (max. three A4 pages)

Important dates:
  - April 24, 2020: Demo proposal submission deadline
  - May 8, 2020: Notification of accepted demos
  - June 14-18, 2021: Conferences and tool demos
