[TYPES/announce] Seeking new SIGPLAN video chairs

Do you want to help out the community of PL researchers? Enjoy meeting new and
interesting people at conferences? Like cameras and recording videos? For free?
SIGPLAN is looking for new video chairs! The position is responsible for
recording (and now streaming) videos at ICFP, PLDI, POPL, and SPLASH, with the
cost of equipment and travel covered by the conferences, coming with membership
of the organizing committee.

We're looking for several interested volunteers (ideally, partitioning up who
is responsible for which conference) who can come to SPLASH (covered by the
event) to find out more about the role and learn how the equipment works. It's a
great opportunity for early grad students to meet, get to know, and work with
the entire SIGPLAN community.

student, please let me know what year you are; anyone is welcome to apply! In
all cases, please include where you're located, and if you'll be able to
attend SPLASH. No previous experience with cameras or video is required.
