<div>We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher in quantum computation to</div>

<div>join the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Dalhousie</div>

<div>University.</div>

<div>Our department has expertise in quantum programming languages and the</div>

<div>theory of quantum circuits, with an emphasis on the use of</div>

<div>mathematical techniques coming from algebra, logic, number theory, and</div>

<div>category theory. Familiarity with one or more of these areas would be</div>

<div>an asset.</div>

<div>The position is initially for 1 year, and can be extended for an</div>

<div>additional year. The salary is CAD $50,000 per year plus benefits.</div>

<div>The application deadline is December 31, 2021, but applications may be</div>

<div>considered until the position is filled. An application package should</div>

<div>consist of a cover letter, a curriculum vitae (including a complete</div>

<div>list of publications), a research statement, and two letters of</div>
