of the Department of Mathematics of Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, 
Portugal, invites applications for one POSTDOCTORAL POSITION for 
research in mathematics.

The position is for one year, with the possibility of renewal upon 
mutual agreement. There are no teaching duties associated with this 
position.

Applicants should have a PhD in mathematics and show very strong 
research potential in any of the current tasks

In due course applicants will be required to provide: curriculum vitae; 
photocopy of the PhD certificate; abstract of the PhD dissertation, 
reprints and preprints; work plan (around 1000 words); and three letters 
of reference.
