These patches should be applied on all platforms:
- Fix the Windows client hang problem.
- Fix the problem with comparison of files using diff
  when the files are on two different hosts.
- Fix the assert failure on all platforms.
- Fix compilation with GTK 1 on OpenBSD.
- Update archive timestamps to avoid defeating fastcheck on Windows.

This one is only needed under Windows.  I'm attaching a more thorough
patch that supersedes it.
- Fix the unison failure when the directory is read-only.

This one is only needed under Mac OS X:
- Fix the Mac OS X client problem.
