* Removed uprintf_old.ml and uprintf_new.ml -- everybody should be
  running OCaml 3.08 by now.

* Previous checkin seems to be at least minimally working.

* Changed format of modification time displays, from 

     `modified at hh:mm:ss on dd MMM, yyyy'

  to

     `modified on yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss'

* Tidied printing of exceptions during transport
