[Unison-hackers] 2.27 ready to move to stable

Hacker friends,

I've now finished off all the things that absolutely had to be fixed  
or tidied up to get version 2.27 ready to be the new stable version.   
Could anyone who builds binaries please give the new version a spin  
and check that there are no lingering issues, build problems, etc.?   
If all goes well, I'll declare this version stable in a few days.
