That's fine, but when things have begun to converge please do let the unison-hackers list know what you're planning.  As I've said before, I'll be very happy to Unison i8n-enabled, but only if the costs (in terms of code complexity, readability/maintainability, build process, export process, etc.) are low.  To avoid wasting anybody's time, we should discuss these issues concretely as soon as you've got a partial translation that shows how things are going to work...
