The Technical University of Munich (TUM) invites applications for the
position of Tenure Track Assistant Professor in "Logic, Automata, and
Game Theory in Computer Science" to begin as soon as possible. The
position is a fixed-term (6 year, W2 salary scale) tenure-track
professorship, with promotion after successful evaluation to a tenured
professorship (W3 salary scale).
Scientific environment

The professorship will be assigned to the TUM School of Computation,
Information and Technology (CIT).
Responsibilities
****************
The responsibilities include research and teaching as well as the
promotion of early-career scientists. We seek to appoint an expert in
the research area of Logic, Automata, and Games with applications to
Formal Verification, Automatic Synthesis, Automated Reasoning or
Learning.
Teaching responsibilities include Basic courses in the Professional
Profile “Informatics”, in particular Theoretical Computer Science, at
Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated initial scientific
achievements and the capacity for independent research at the highest
international level. A university degree and an outstanding doctoral
degree or equivalent scientific qualification, as well as pedagogical
aptitude, are prerequisites. Substantial research experience abroad is
