# PhD and postdoc positions in theory of quantum computing in Paris

The Algorithms & Complexity group at IRIF (CNRS, Université
Paris-Cité) in Paris (France) invites applications for multiple fully
funded PhD positions and postdoc positions (1-3yrs) to work on the
theory of quantum computing. The group has expertise in quantum
algorithms and quantum complexity theory, and includes permanent
members Simon Apers, Iordanis Kerenidis, Sophie Laplante and Frédéric
Magniez. In case of interest, there are opportunities to collaborate
with industrial partners.

One of the postdoc positions is on the European HPCQS ("High
Performance Computer – Quantum Simulator") platform, and is shared
with Benoît Valiron (Université Paris-Saclay) who is an expert in
quantum programming languages (see https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://lmf.cnrs.fr/Research/Quant__;!!IBzWLUs!VK_L1yBxo0ZmCazyhfO0yPanaFXVcL0n33OlTBS0guNxC6rxre8fazsf7w84NhagMzrXJJ6zGNxThL1kZ4kxqlXRSEvQ6Lc$ )
Soft deadline: November 1st, 2022. For more information, see send an
