[Unison-hackers] what's left before thinking about 2.53.0?

A few PRs have landed in the last few days, including some Windows GUI
improvements (thanks Roy!) and support, two years in the making, for
xattr and ACLs (thanks Tõivo!).

I don't see any close-to-mergeable PRs on the table.

Is there any reason not start down some sort of alpha/beta/rc/release
process?
