[Unison-hackers] history of Unison?

Hello,

Where can I find information about the history of Unison (except by  
asking here)?

Specifically, I'd like to know when it started (under that name), and  
if the implementations were (in that order) in shell scripts, Pict,  
Java, and Caml.
